1 thing I hate is that our nav unit doesn't remember what city I'm in.
Each time I type in an address..I have to type in/ choose the city I'm in again.
Or else I will have to choose from 100+ "Main st." from the list of many cities.

I got annoyed by this too, but rather than typing in the city just type in the address and when all of them come up you can sort by distance (a little button above all the addresses). That will help you out a lot, and you won't have to type in the city everytime since it will list the closest one first!

It worked! Thanks guys. Now I have to look at updating this damn thing with the new maps. I was reading one of the other threads and saw quotes of $250 from the dealer ($100 install, $150 software)! I wonder if I can download the new map and install it myself?

Yea, I hate that the nav doesn't sort by distance on default when searching for something by name. There is a little button to do it in every search, but I would think it would make more sense to look for the nearest location every time. I'm looking to update my maps to, but since the nav is HD based I think only the dealer has the machine to do the update, sucks.
