G37 Startup Problem

Hey guys, so I've had my G37x for about a year now, and I've been having trouble starting up my car for the past month or so. I recently brought it to the dealership , thinking it was a battery problem, but they checked it out and said it was fine. I thought it was a battery problem because when I first picked it up I had the same problem, and it turned out to be because the battery was out of juice, or was an old battery. So I would turn on the car, it would make the starting sound and die out right away, sometimes I would get a really weak start..and it sounds like the car could barely start up. Ive been told there might be a problem with the starter. I'm pretty sure there is nothing wrong with the battery, simply because they dealership checked the batter while I was there. I dont know what else I should look for or how I could fix this problem. I'm not a car expert so any help would be great...It really sucks to have such a nice car do this..Thanks for reading

Is your car a 2008? Most of the symptoms you speak of seems to be a battery issue that I had.

I think someone mentioned that it could be due to the dirty throttle bodies

just took my 09 in for this dead battery issue (two calls to roadside assistance within 24 hours). they serviced the vent control valve TSB and gave me a new battery. i also got a new ECM when original one locked up during reflash.

abdiel, or anybody that knows, what does ecm mean? its that another term for ecu?
well the reason I'm asking is because...I also had the tsb done for the 08 battery. they changed battery and that valve. but I wanted to maybe try and figure out, if maybe they also changed or modified the ecu.
thanks y'all.

The ECM is just another way to say ECU. In the TSB they reprogram the ECU "to run the alternator sooner"-from Infiniti tech.

nah i have a 09' awd hmmm so I guess I'm going to have to bring it back to the dealership and ask for a check up..I brought my car in a couple of weeks ago and they said the battery was fine. I guess they didnt thoroughly check it since my car is still on warranty.

i had a similar issue when i would start the car, the RPM's wouldn't stay up past 1k and my engine would stall.. but the dealer said it was nothing and they had no signs of misfire..
i'm still in the midst of trying to figure this out -.-

I had the exact same issue. I gone down to Infiniti Dealership and replaced my old battery with a brand new one. It would only fix my issue momentarily. Afterwards it was still the same problem so i swapped my starter with a brand new one. I can say my 2010 Infiniti G37x coupe , had an improvement in a“faster and smoother startup” and which did FIX the issue but once again MOMENTARILY. It was good for 2-3 months and the startup issue began again. Im being told it could be my fuel pump or alternator but im unsure yet. My G works great its just the startup that I have continuous issues with.
