want the doors to lock when I walk away...
There was a thread at one time that listed a bunch of different customizable options you could change. This covered things such as how long your headlights would stay on after you turned off the car. I can't find the thread however but I will keep looking.

Alright,
Hazard and Horn Reminder Mode (pg 3-18 in 2009 owner's manual)
Hold lock and unlock on key fob for more than 2 seconds to switch between modes 1 and 2. Going from 1 to 2 flashes the hazards 3 times to confirm, going from 2 to 1 the horn beeps once and hazards flash once to confirm change.
Selective Door Lock/Unlock, Auto Light Sensitivity, Headlamp Illumination Delay, Auto Interior Illumination/Dome Lamp Timer, Disable SmartKey(pg 4-7)
Go to settings on lcd screen, click comfort and convenience to see these options.
Can't find any info on how to disable anti-lock out feature. Default setting for sunroof/window power is 45 seconds, no mention of how to change it.
On my car, the doors auto lock after 5 minutes if the keys are outside of the car and door sensor range. I don't trust it enough to not hit the lock button though.
So...
I think you might have to visit the local dealer to change Anti-lock Out, Head Lamp Battery Saver, Retained Power, Remote Auto Locking Function Mode.

I swear a few months ago I was washing my car, and I remember I had it unlocked. After like 10 minutes or so I went to clean inside the doors and I noticed it was locked... I went and unlocked it and cleaned the door. Like 1 minute later I noticed the lights flash and the doors were locked. I would love to have this feature activated again, because I tried it again after that a few times and noticed it didn't happen again...

I'm at my dealer now. The tech is looking to find the info on the remote autolock. Where was the source for the info? Like which model year started to have this? And is it for all models. I know surjax has an 09 sedan

So no luck at the dealer this does not exist for them. Where ever it's quoted from it does not work with the G as they can't program the key for Remote Auto Locking.

This is not the same as parking and leaving the car and having it auto lock by itself.
