WOuld my 09 X coupe fall under the TSB?

My 09 x coupe with 12k miles when I brake, it sounds like the rotors are warped ( do not drive hard or track the car, this is normal daily driving with a little enthusiastic sprints here and there).. the steering wheel doesn't really shake bad (although it does shake a little) but the biggest PITA is that when braking, you can feel it in the brake peddle the enhanced version of what it would feel like on the steering wheel.. and it sounds like warped rotors that dudududududud sound (lol if that makes sense to anyone)

there is a TSB for new rotors or something? I know people were talking about problems .. but didnt know if it was for 09s.. my car was built in october 2008, but is a 2009 g37x coupe.

I want to know everything before I bring it in..

According to the TSB, it can impact 09's built in Oct 2008 if I remember correctly. The TSB will also list the range of VIN's it impacts. You can find it in the TSB section.

Yep, I just checked. It impacts vehicles built on or before October 6th, 2008 including 09's. Go to the TSB section and look at page 2 of this particular topic. It is the first thread in that section as of now. A poster provided a link to the TSB which also provided the list of VIN's that were involved.

THAT IS MY VIN, LINK to pdf / confirm if my vin is in on this would be great!!!!! thanks so much

EDIT:

My car was built 10/3/08

what do I do now?

"My work order says it's ITB09-037. So they machined the rotors as per ITB PX43AA 2.3 & they overnighted 2 backing plates that serve as heat shields to go with the rotors on my front wheels to keep them from overheating so as to prevent future premature wear. The car brakes like a charm now and apparently these are the 2 part numbers for both front rotors as per my work order:

PLATE-BAFFLE-41151-JL30A and
PLATE-BAFFLE-41161-JL30A.

Another nice thing is that now not only is the braking smooth (no vibrating wheel) but my squeal in reverse is GONE."

I took my car in because it was affected by this TSB, and after being fixed once, it came back a short time later with a sound similar to what you are describing. I took it in again, and they found that my left hub was "out of spec" and they replaced the whole assembly. Good luck in figuring out what ever is wrong with your vehicle.

P.S. I guess I should have read the whole thread before I pontificated like a bafoon lol I'm glad you got it fixed. If it comes back in 2k miles, might be your hub :-)

I bought my G used - how will I be able to tell if the previous owner had TSBs addressed? Will the dealer have that in the system?

Have not gone yet, I just found all the info which I am going in there WITH me. I am telling them that people have gotten the rotors resurfaced but it still had the problem. Because it was a big enough issue to make it a TSB I am REQUESTING HARDCORE to have new rotors and pads put on along with the hub plate or whatever its called.

I can either go to Douglas Infiniti in Summit or Ray Catena in Bridgewater.. I am undecided yet which to go to...
