So lets say the front fascia/bumper of the 2011 G37 will be a bit different, what are the chances that it will be a direct bolt on to the earlier G37's?

I hope the headlights' shape won't be too different as well.

depends, for example, the 2010 Sedan parts can be bolted on to the 07-09 Sedan......all you need is headlights, bumper and maybe 2 other pieces or so.

So technically you will be able to do it.......but its gunna cost a pretty pennt

Yeah, I was expecting that. Hopefully, I could use the same headlights when I go for the conversion. I really want the foglights separated from the headlights. I guess we can't tell until we see the 2011 pics.

I dont think a conversion is that simple because you would have to rewire the fog lights.

I think the extension to the product line will be a M45 8 cylinder engine in the g-coupe!

from what ive seen on the Sedan......the windshield washer tank was modified to allow wiring to the fog lights......so if you're creative and wanna do something yourself......get yourself a 2010 sedan washer tank....and make your own fog lights to add to the bumper you have now

or pay someone to bash the front end of ur car and convince your mechanic to order 2011 parts.........just sayin

Im pissed, I had a feeling this was gunna happen, i just got my car! i knew 2011 would have facelift changes....but i didnt expect the AWD to get Sport...that was one of the biggest things for me

w/e i still like my car, only very little buyers remorse, i could have probably held out depending on when the first shipment arrived.....i wonder what lapis blue will look like.
AWD is heavier, slower, less balanced and you probably don't need it. Plus I doubt the AWD will get the suspension / brake upgrades anyway... as others have mentioned.

i live in NY, AWD is preferred especially with the way i drive, especially in cold weather. It took me 2 months to find my car (rwd) because they only sold the awd's up here.....i drove myself nuts because i wanted the sports package and was fully convinced the awd coupes wouldnt get it.

you shouldn't really, cause sport package for the X cost what.. 1k, and sport package for the rwd cost 2k, so for another 1k you could purchase the sport brakes; est.1400.

and I'm guessing the price would go up for the X sport package to the same as the rwd sport pkg.

I live in Philly - I'm sure the climate is just about the same... We have solid snow on the ground anywhere from 0 - 5 days per year... Even when we do, my RWD has never once been a problem. Be glad your sport one is 250 lbs lighter and more balanced!
