NEED ADVICE!! please help!

So i'm concidering getting my clear bra done at UltimateShield. Going to do the whole front end done and wrapped edges. I'm doing this only because my front end was just repainted because of too many rock chips and i want to preserve that CLEAN BLACK fresh look...

How well do the clear bras really do at being clear and preserving that wet look without being noticeable.

PLEASE POST PICS OF YOUR CLEAR BRA! Thank you!!!

oh and on a side note, how sensitive are the clear bras to scratches, swirls, light scuff marks... and can these be repaired or does the whole section have to be replaced.

If it is off any help, I was told not to take the car to a car wash that use brushes. That is fine with me , I always do my own washing. I have only had it on for a month or so, and so far so good. Since I use a Mac I have no idea on how to post a pic, sorry.

I had a 3M clear shield on the front of my Infiniti FX. Although it did help with paint chips, it did start to turn yellow after a few years and became more noticeable. I did NOT do it again. The other thing is to clean the edge of the clear shield with a toothbrush to keep any wax from showing the lines.

EDIT: I should add that I kept my shield well waxed and the yellowing/discoloration was spotty. The FX was sunlit copper. It might not show as much on your black.

ok so it yellowed after 2 years but it gave you 2 years rock pick free. seems worth it to me to just get it redone. i have had mine on for over a year now and no yellowing. you just need to keep it waxed.

My brother has an 06 Corvette with 3M. His car is silver and the clear bra is starting to yellow now and it is noticeable. It is always garaged and only has 8,000 miles.

In evaluating different brands I settled on (Venturshield) v.s the others as reports were not as good. Since I turn the car in every 3 years I never use wax. Knowing that wax yellows I only use a clear polymer on the clear coat leaving no wax buildup.
