Stupid VDC....
Most of my previous cars were rwd and the 2 previous g35 coupes I had were always driven with vdc off and I never had any problems or close calls. What's with so many people saying to leave it on? Is the new coupe so much different from other cars or are people these days just not skilled enough to keep a rwd coupe with moderate power on the road without help? My new coupe is awd so I don't think turning off vdc matters....can't make the rear kick out anymore I think. Haven't tried it yet...still breaking in.
I'm glad someone started a thread on this topic.
I have been driving the G37s 6MT for about 3 weeks now and I find the VDC to be quite intrusive. My previous car had traction and stability control and it never kicked in until things got really bad
the one on the G seems a little paranoid to me, as soon as something starts to slip it kicks right in.
I had a loaner G35 for a few days (non sport pack, 5AT) with 30k miles on it and the VDC was much less intrusive. Anyone else notice this? I'm trying to decide if it's tuning, the LSD, or just an "upgradeded VDC "
on the G37.

Very well said, unless you're purposely trying to drift the car it shouldn't come on
What's pathetic is those of you who don't know how to DRIVE. I see plenty of you all the time at driving schools. You think you know how to drive and then you're put in a real environment and you quickly realize you don't know sh*t
