thats the link for a 2007 g35 sports edition infiniti 4 door sedan. It has 36,749 miles, has a salvage title, said that the back was damaged.
Here is what the seller said:
We purchased this vehicle in florida with only 36,562Actual <o></o> mileage. We bought this vehicle with light rear end damage and the front was not damaged just the front bumper and grille were removed when i purchased the car. Although it was damaged
it did not affect its driving capabilities and the airbags where not deployed!
No Frame No Engine No Suspension Damage No Sindows Broken Whatsoever! looks good and DRIVING EXCELLENCY! We put over 187 miles on this vehicle with
absolutely NO problems! This vehicle has a florida title and under remarks
it states: florida rebuilt title inspection passed.
what do you think its worth?

don't buy it... I had a few body shops trying to convince me that my car had only slight damage and they could "fix" it... unitll I finally took it to a decent shop that worked with the adjuster to total it.. What do you think? Only slight front damage right?

That'll buff right out.

My advice... don't buy it.
why are they selling it after 187 miles... "with no problems"? Do they have any pictures of the car right after the accident, to show what the damage was?
You just don't know what you're getting at this point and there are too many cars with clean titles that you can pick up pretty cheap right now.

My opinion? They bought it as salvage. Had it fixed. Some other issue popped up after 187 miles, after driving it for a week or two. But it's not too obvious until one does drive it for a bit. So they are now trying to unload it. That or they never intended to keep it and they bought a wreck (or maybe a family member wrecked it and they made up a story) with the idea of fixing it up to sell. Not that it's bad to buy something to try to sell it to make money, and they are admitting it's a salvage titled car. But just giving what I think is the "real story" behind it, as a couple guesses.
So no, unless the price is absurdly low I'd not do it. Even if the thing is perfect you're stuck with a big "SALVAGE" on the title that will make it really hard to sell when you want to get a different car unless YOU take an absurdly low price compared to NADA or blue book value.

The car must have major damages, at least 15k in damages in this case, in order to be totaled by the insurance. No frame damages? They're lying. I got rear-ended in my '07 w/ only 7.5k damages and they need to repair the frame already.
