I htink the point is act like your doing them the favor by taking the car lol..... Walk out make them chase you belive me they will!!!! when they list the price just tell him... " Everyhting you just said meaningless now lets get down to business" I wanna pay this! and offer them atleats 7k lesss, let them counter...its a long process~!

One dealership had 19 coupes left and wouldn't budge under $38k. I just laughed at his face and left.

You have to remember, these are the most brutal times in recent history in the car business. If they have an 09 on the lot, and its the car you want, make them an offer6-7k below invoice, make sure they know you can buy that day, that you really want the car, that you're not going to pay more, that you're also talking to specific other dealers, etc etc..and be prepared to walk. You have to be tough with them because believe me they will grind every last dollar they can get out of you. You should be just as tough with them..

When we were buying my mom's G37x coupe, we got them down to a fairly low price... bumped up our trade in value... then said that we wanted a spoiler on it. At first they said OK, $700. We said "we'd think about it"... started putting our coats on, etc etc. Then they said OK, 1/2 price. We again said well thank you, we'll think about it. They let us get up, we walk out the door, and then the salesperson and salesmanager come running out saying, OK free.

They are wanting to get rid of the 09's and just wanting to make some sales! Remember, HAGGLE HAGGLE HAGGLE! haha
