Noise almost like when computer is trying to load or access hard drive

I saw this mentioned on the high frequency noise section, I wanted to start a new threat and see if anybody has this issue.

so its a different noise all together from the high frequency one that I still have to deal with.

This one comes right from the engine area, It is like the noise you hear from older computers loading or accessing the hard drive.

It is really bothering me. I told the dealer and of course they said it is normal.

It seems to be something electrical because when sitting still trying to roll up windows already up it will make it also when holding down the clutch and turning steering wheel.

It feels like anytime there is a electrical flow from something the noise is there.

you cant hear it after rolling at higher speeds. but of course we cant hear anything at that point anyways due to road noise. lol.

The nav system is HDD based so you could just be hearing that which would explain it sounding like a computer.

You could be hearing pumps and/or motors in the engine bay.

Have you had your coolant changed or flushed recently? An air bubble left in the cooling system could create a sound like you're describing.
