Happy New year.

I have had my G for about 5 months still under 1200 miles.
havn't driven for many days due to weather.
Yesterday it was sunny and drove about 90 miles, it was 90% freeway driving.
I got home at night, turn the G off, and walking to inside; and my brother goes; hey !!! your car is smoking!!!!!
I checked temperature gauge, then it was normal, it was about 38F outside; not too cold.
So I took my G out today again, same happening.
Smokes come out from front bumper maybe Radiator area after car turned off.
Is this normal??? Never happened other my cars , even colder weather. even my friend's honda civic don't do this. its kinda embarrassing.

 

do you have any mods? this is definitely not normal...

 

Doesn't sound normal to me. What does it smell like, rubber, or something else? Literally, maybe a small animal crawled up there and died and you're like charring it every time you drive??? lol When there's smoke, have you just opened up the hood to try to see if you can find a source?

 

Definitely not normal... Sometimes when it's raining out I'll get some steam from the brakes where the water is hitting the hot brakes.

 

No, I checked under hood nothing smells burn or something else.
just a lot smokes came out from front bumper grill area. I dunno I had oil change at 1000 miles it was like 2 months ago.
when I turn the head lamp on, then I could see more even the engine is off.

 

It wasn't like steam; If it looked steam I won't worry but smokes kind worry me bad.

May be I going to take pics if I can.

I got this when i washed my car during cold weather. but it was just water evaporating from the front bumper.

 

You could have a small leak somewhere. I would taker her in to the dealer ASAP

Yeah don't risk it with your new car man, get it checked out. It doesn't sound like steam, and it just doesn't sound normal.....for any car....
