Do you have a lot of extra weight in the car? Are you pleasantly plump? weight accounts for the feel of being fast too.
When i had my interior flooding issue, i had a lot of temporary weight reduction. The entire floor was out, no passenger seat, and a stripped trunk.. my car pulled like crazy. I think i was down atleast 200lbs..

our max torque is available at quite a high rpm if im not correct. so if you want good acceleration, you gota take the engine to that rpm, and not the regular 1500 that you would use to drive normally.
When it is hot outside, I notice that my car is very sluggish, especially if it has been sitting out in the sun. I can floor it and it will take 10 seconds to get up to 60. I don't think the car can handle heat. It might be my mods also. I notice it does better in the night and early morning.

I feel that there's a noticable throttle lag from 0% engine-load to when you reapply the throttle. It's very strange and non-linear and I agree that it feels like this was designed for luxury ladies who jump on the clutch everytime so this way the vehicle does not leap forward while their doing the mascara thing...
What I do on a red light is I'll rev to 2000rpm then on its way down I'll let in the clutch and floor it...else there's a definite lag everytime. It's annoying because the intitial accell pedal position is not linear to the throttle position.
So when you change gears, try to rev match and not release the accel pedal too much. There's no choice when starting from first gear so the workaround is to do a short pre-pump or just learn to factor in the lag.
The Cobb AP should fix this. I wonder if the 370Z does this.

are u serious about an A4 pullin on u?
My friend has an 09 s-line turbo on 6mt, and no matter how hard he launches, best he gets is the first gear with me, after that, distance opens by cars...
Ur car is a lemon =X

Yes, its going into the stealership to have a look at....

but on a brighter note, after resetting my ecu, the car does pull harder and run smoother, but after my frist oil change i notice i have oil consumption issues, which the shop will have to figuare out with this power issue.

What type of gas are you putting in this car. Make sure your using 93 octane, otherwise your ignition timing can be severely retarded, also your valve timing will change further reducing compression in the cylinders to avoid knock. This sounds like what is happening considering after the ecu reset the power was restored for a bit, only to decrease over time. Remember the computer is constantly learning, your driving habits as well as what type of gas is in the car.

No matter what gas ur runnin havin an a4 beatin u is a big issue, Even if u were runnin 80 octane, that shouldnt be happening... lol
