The car does seem to lose a bit of power in the hot Summer Florida heat or after a few hard runs!

Also those stock cats IMO get clogged and you should rev it out with some full throttle driving here and there until you get hi-flow cats or straight pipes.

Now as for it getting beat by Audi 4 that's not right. When my car was stock I took an Audi 6 and Have beaten quite a few Mustang GTs.

Do an ECU re-flash then after you do it will take a little time for the CPU to learn your driving habits so it can adjust. Once that does you should be back to new. If not keep taking it to the dealership!

Something is not right bro... Unfortunately the only way to really see if there is a problem is with a dyno reading. It will still be difficult to sell the dealership on fixing it as they will probably not see this issue as a "problem". Maybe the dealership can hook it up to a machine to test it's vitals (?)

This may be a captain obvious comment, but if you are using your a/c then that could also be the main contribution!

Since the Stillen Stage 3 intakes the car is a beast at all RPM's, especially with VDC off. VDC off is always better for me unless it's raining and I'm only commuting.

I wonder if the VDC changes the ecu a little bit, cause whenever I turn it off the car seems so much faster (which I guess could also be caused by the car not getting nervous when it sense slipping)

I think the temperature plays a huge roll in it also, like if you go out on a nice cool night no a/c, VDC off and rip on the car it feels like a rocket

^Yep heat is a major part of it even with the A/c off. Some CAIs should fix that though

It cracks me up with ppl spell it like that. The meaning of VTEC - (variable valve timing with electronic control). Honda probally one of the main ppl who started variable valve timing and perfected it. I love it.. If u look it up VVEL has a similar concept to Honda's Sohc Vtec system. just my .02.....

For the ppl who are blank about VTEC.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VTEC
