If you don't mind me asking, which dealership are you dealing with?

I have a lease too and I'm bringing my car in Monday to replace my driver seat and I have had no problems - You should fight for your warranty - I agree with you!

hmmm I just got done talking to a rep at Grubbs Infiniti here in Dallas and asked them that question and they told me they should replace the seat if it is not a wear and tear. They told me if it is wear and tear it won't be covered under warrnety but anyways like everyone said try to fight it.

The dealer is Warren Henry in Miami.

Well thats the thing I agree on the wear & tear issue, but fading leather is not wear & tear. Leather as a material exhibits "spider-webbing & cracking, maybe peeling depending on how u enter & exit" those are natural wear & tear aspects, but fading from one color to the next is a defect in the dying process of the hide. Fading may be acceptable wear & tear, but this shouldnt occur for at least 5-10 years depending on the way the vehicle is treated.

As a side note if I took pics of my cars interior you wouldnt see any "spider-webs or cracking" the leather is perfect in all areas expect the pieces that are fading.
My service manager went so far to tell the rep that the car as it stands could go back in the showroom with a new car sticker & no one would know it was used till they saw the odometer.

FYI: The leather seats are terrible in the aspect of quality. The bubbling issue has happened very often to many on this forum. I've never heard of the fading problem though?

Best bet, go to another dealership. The bubbling issue has almost always been repaired under the warranty so the fading issue shouldn't be a problem.

Post some pics of the fade so that we all know you're not crazy.

Exactly. Beyond that, who cares. It's a lease. It's not like you own it. Not a big deal.
