charge for lowering your car? and other myths..

is it true that infiniti will charge you hour labor if your car is lowered because it makes it difficult to get your car on their lifts? i was discouraged by my service rep to drop my car because they will charge me.
also is it only some dealers that are replacing the butt cushion on your seat for leather bubbling? mine told me it is only a courtesy replacement because there is no recall yet.
and finally is it true that it is illegal to put rims on your car without tpms if your car comes stock with it? a tire shop in my area wanted 100 bucks per sensor on winter rims and told me it was the law. i lauged and walked out.

Just send me $100 and I will give you a special exception card that will indemnify you of these things.

Ha! My dealer installed my H-TECHs. If they're charged me more to lift it do you know what would happen

Do you know how many of these we could sell to unsuspecting ricers on ebay with a well written ad???

I smell a new business venture on the horizon...

I had plenty of free time back 6 months ago. I miss it sometimes.

I really didn't expect to have the great response I've had from everyone. I thougt I'd make 3 or 4 and that would be it. Hardly! Now I have the G35 guys wanting kits too so I may be getting into that arena as well.

The Transportation Recall Enhancement, Accountability, and Documentation Act (the "TREAD Act") mandates use of a tire pressure monitoring system ("TPMS") in the G37. It is a violation of the TREAD Act for an owner or service facility to bypass or dismantle the mandatory factory installed TPMS system.
