G37 08 or g37 09 ?

Hi all,
This is my 1st post in this forum and i really need your help to choose.
I have bought a G37s last Jun 08, and the new g37 now in the show room,
I have seen many changes from the 08 one, the 09 is has more options:
  1. clear front light ( No orange signal color ).
  2. light can be moved with the wheels left and right.
  3. new 7th speed gear.
  4. 4wd (optional).
I'm about to change the car because of the 7th speed gear (That was the 1st reason).
I need your opinions please to choose between the 2 models (stick on 08 or change it with the new 09).

Thank you very much
All the best

Hi there, welcome to the forum.

Honestly, if you already have a G37 then its not really worth the loss to get the new 2009 model. But if you really want it, then go ahead.

I can add to your few list of changes:
5. Dial seat heater *****
6. Washi door handles (saw this in person.. looks good!)

Other than that though, i really don't see the benefits of changing. If i was to change cars it would probably not be another G37.

if you really think those minimal changes are worth trading in a 6 month old car then go ahead. If it was up to me i would only do it if they bumped the horsepower to 400 and the torque to 350, or else im not wasting my money.

Hi oOmikeyboy,
Thanks for adding 5. and 6.

Hello Keng,
In Kuwait we only have the full options models for the g37 as a fixed options,
I can't even choose a different interior color other than black.
Even the 6mt is not possible to order.

With this attitude, you will continually be disappointed. What will happen next year when they update the model again? But hey, if you have the money to burn, go for it.

Hi lakers8,
Even the infinity staff said the same as you said,
but but the test drivers said it is smoother than before.

I'm really waiting for the test.

If you want an auto, get the 09. If you want a 6MT, get the 08. But since you're deciding on the 7 speed, I'm guess auto, so I'd say go for the 09 given that money is not an issue.
