Origin of the G37
I always wanted to know more about how the G37 gets made.. like I presume it's made in the tochigi factory? but does anyone know more? how about maybe some factory pictures? what steps does the car go through from the frame to final delivery? i don't know why but i've always wanted to know more about how this car gets made.

Too bad Infiniti doesnt offer this.

Link focuses on the GT-R but Nissan uses the same production line (at same time) & techs to build the 37.
/Saw this 6+mths ago & haven't come across anything more relevant since.
BMW has European Delivery; you can go to Munich where the BMW is made and walk through the plant, etc.; you can then pick up your BMW, drive it all over Europe (Even the Autobahn), then return it to the port, and it arrives in America in about 4-6 weeks. Its a hell of an experience, mind you, you can get your BMW for about $5k less than invoice doing it this way.

This used to bug the crap out of me too. But that was before I got my STi and then my G37S. Now it's game on. If it were not for these same morons ambling down the path daydreaming, I would be driving in a straght line all the time. As it is, I get the practice my skills. Give me a few slow moving trucks to dodge along the way and I am having an interesting commute. It's better than a ride at he fai............insert LOUD CRASH NOISE.........breaking glass.....

i wanted to do European delivery with a BMW, all the temporary insurance and license paperwork is handled by your BMW dealer prior to you going over there. All you do is go in with your passport to pick up your vehicle and put on the euro tags. Its pretty sweet.
