Wow, this car is fast!!

Hey everyone, just got my G37 about a month ago and just hit the safety period of 1200 miles. Took it out yesterday to have fun and man this car is freaking fast as hell, I swear I'm just a speeding ticket waiting to happen any day now.

I have the pearl white and thinking about rims already. Do you guys think I should go with white on white?

Coming from a turbo G35 this car feels slow, but after driving my beater car for a few days this car feels like a rocket.

You'll be even more paranoid after you get the first one.

Especially after 4k, the engine doesn't stop pulling...

Turn off VDC and you'll minimize the lag off the line and get a sweeter exhaust note as a added bonus.
The G is much more responsive without VDC...

Yeah, it doesn't really feel much faster than my old G35 at all. It might be the weight...

it's probably the weight that makes it feel that way...... A stock 35 and a stock 37, the 37 feels so much faster, quicker and more responsive.

From Car and Driver. The G37 is .1 faster than the G35. Can you really "feel" that much of a difference? haha

G35
60-mph mark gets gulped in 5.5 seconds,
a quarter-mile in 14.1 at 101 mph

G37
Zero to 60 mph: 5.4 sec
Standing ¼-mile: 14.0 sec @ 100 mph

IS350
Zero to 60 mph: 5.1 sec
Standing ¼-mile: 13.7 sec @ 104 mph
