I think we have a great forum here with a community of owners and enthusiasts who possess an amazing amount of knowledge and expertise. Most here are more than willing to share ideas and knowledge. However, as the forum grows, there seems to be a greater trend of posters starting threads to ask really simple questions that they absolutely should already know the answer to. Why do I say that? Because it seems that nobody will simply RTFM!!

Please, before posting any technical question, RTFM! Even for those who don't already own the car and have a manual, you can download it and look at it to educate yourself. The Factory Service Manual will also give you tons of info.

Also the search function is wonderful. Use it often. It's very likely been asked and answered.

When posting, give your post an appropriate title so that users can have an idea by the title if it's something they want or need to read. Also as a courtesy label any NSFW material in the post TITLE.


And finally, please don't ***** up the really good posts with worthless comments that simply bog down the post and make it hard to find the actual information the post is there for (the Injen intake thread is a classic example).
