G37 stories?
I got a compliment from a late 30s MILF at the gas station the same day I picked my G up. "Sharp ride" she said while I was fueling up and then noticed my girlfriend in the passenger seat while spilling gas all over her Range Rover on the gas nozzle pull out. I'm guessing it's a sensation not too unfamiliar for her!
I haven't noticed any rubber necks on the road (too busy driving), but somebody always compliments at the gas station. Everyone at work crapped a brick when they saw it (I was driving a busted 93 Cavalier previously). One guy heard me talking about the Skyline and thought I got the GT-R (I wish).

Same here- Mine that was supposed to be here mid December will now be late Jan. Long wait, but should definatley be worth the wait.
I work in retail, and I over here some guy talking about my car...he's talking to his friend and he goes "man, i'd give my left nut for that car"....by this time i was too intrigued and had to have a little fun... i ask him "oh yeah, well what about the right one"... I **** you not...he goes..."I would but thats how I got my 335i"... HAHA! I guess he just read the motor trend review? ...lol but no, I had a good conversation with him after that and he said he loved his bmw but he would own both if he could, he had a lot of respect for the g, as did i for his 335i....either way, kinda made my day...Go G!
I was parking my car, and when I got out this Lady said "Wow what a beautiful car!" She happened to be walking by, but she couldn't turn away from staring at the car. That was a bad idea though because since her eyes were focused on the car she ended up walking into a parking meter!
After running into the parking meter she walked away rubbing her head and still repeating "What a beautiful car!"

Passed one of those ugly SRT8 Jeeps on Sunday and I guess he didn't like it, so he chased me for a few blocks and lined up next to me at a light. Yeah, as soon as the light changed he nailed it and it sounded like a cheap V8 hog as it blasted off. Of course, I just ever so lightly pressed the gas and proceeded like an old lady.....
I hope he enjoyed that as much as I did.

I was driving and a pretty sharp 2004 M45 Sedan, black & tinted like me, pulled onto the road from a subdivision...I blinked my hazards a couple times (my usual "I recognize your car and we're automotive family" signal)...So they guy who was about 35 year old Chaldean (Iraqi Catholic - HUGE population of them near Detroit they are like the Guidos of Michigan) follows me spirited driving & pulls up at the red light with me and rolls his windows down and asks about the car - I tell him it's the New 2008 G Coupe. He asks me how much horsepower I tell him 330HP with RWD. He is actually surprised he says, "Wow that's all they put in there? This car even has about 340 HP" So I tells him "Well this right here is a v6 with 3.7L engine getting just 10 HP shy of what your v8 with 4.5L produces so that and being a RWD Coupe it makes up for it"
He gives me respect and tells me to take care of the car. He also mentioned he thought it was a V8 M3 competitor which made me feel good at least our cars look it with the aggressive styling. So anyways this was a long red light and we both give our cars some healthy throttle after - keep in mind we DID NOT race just sprinted forth enough to hear each other's engines - I shifted at 5.5k approx just from gears 1-3. Next red light he tells me he was VERY impressed at how exotic the G sounds.
That's my story......!

M45 above without tints and the infamous 5-spokes
