Does anyone have more G37 stories? It's always entertaining to read these type of threads. I guess more people will have them once their ordered cars come.

Anything from conversations with the public, what you do with the G, to funny happenstances.

 

uhh its snowing here in ny so i figured the roads are pretty wide by my house lets turn off traction for one turn and wow it slides i got pretty scared to be honest lol. i still get a few compliments here and then not a lot. a few three honk races undefeated so far no good competition except for my friends 5.0 mustang rebuilt modded like mad but it culdnt keep up. ill prob lose to a 335i or something just none of my friends have one yet

 

EXCEPT for street races.

 

I think so far the best story is the one with the possessed G37 (I cant remember the poster's name). Its the one where he was having the funny window problems.

I was in a rual part of the State when a guy and gal on a motorcycle came racing up beside me from about 100 yards back. They then beeped ther horn and both gave me the thumbs up. He then backed off and got off a freeway exit.

 

I was sitting in traffic in Indy and was almost rear-ended by a guy on a cell-phone. When I looked back at him again, I noticed he wasn't talking on it but firing off as many pictures as he could of the chrome end of my G

 

Just hit 1200 miles today while some fool was tailgating me (in a rice burner), so I gunned it in 3rd gear. Pretty soon I was like 100m ahead of him, I can tell he wasn't very happy about the fumes I just passed on to him.

 

^ You should've changed lane so you're next to him, stay with him for a little bit then take off. Haha.

I was in the UCLA area. Stopped at a light with a bus next to me. The driver signaled for me to roll down my window and I was a little confused. He asked with a smile if my car was the new G48 (or something random he called it). I was like yea. Bus driver then said, "man that is niice, nice color too".

hmmm I was lost in Downtown L.A. at about 11 p.m. a few weeks ago and a security gaurd from one of the high end apt skyrises ran up to my car and was like... " damnnnnnn, what is that, your car is bad assssss." Made me feel special for a moment and forget I was lost.

Oh and Tanabe calling me back and using my car for exhaust R&D
