New Car Glitch??

I had something weird happen this morning when I started my car........the audio and entire nav display/crt would not work. I restarted the car and after a minute or so of driving it started working again. Last night I was tinkering with the audio system while parked in my garage with the ignition in Acc. Could that have triggered some type of reset or something?? The rest of the day was fine.............Thanks for any input....

Many of us have had this happen... Hopefully it is not something we consistently face. At least it resets itself though.

little off topic but i couldnt find a better thread right away. i noticed the trunk needs a lil bit of force to shut so once in a while it doesnt shut on me and , when driving the control panel/warning screen doesnt give a warning as it does when a door is open. this is a poor design/lack of feature. not a biggy really but u could drive with ur trunk open not knowing, also maybe its harder to notice on my OB but u can barely tell the trunk is open from the outside the gap is about a centimeter.

anyone else note this or am i missing the warning symbol for it?

I can sure tell when mine didn't close all the way, just by looking at it

yeah I mean I can tell too when I look at it for more than a second but im used to just shuttin the trunk and walkin away in one motion....also you have a white G the gap in between is prob more apparent, on my black especiallyif its dark out - the gap and car color are both dark/black

either way I wish the warning sign would say "trunk open" oh well....

odd, i have not had this exact issue. but i have had the system freeze when i downloaded my phone book from my phone. It happened both times i needed to upload the phone book. the screen just froze and nothing would work at all. no radio, no map, no phone nothing. just a frozen screen, i had to turn the car off and let it sit for 15 mins to restart.....

If these issues keep occurring, I think we should at least be entitled to a free firmware update in the future if available (versus them trying to charge us for it). I know we have the first batch of cars from Infiniti, but still, glitches of this nature should have been addressed before the car was released.
