Dead Battery

I experienced a dead battery today while doing a wash and wax. I had the radio on and one door opened for about an hour. I have done this in other vehicles without a problem. I am not sure if I have a bad battery or if the G just draws alot in the ACC/On position.

The life of the original battery does not always last that long... its sometimes sits ON at a dealer and kills the battery life...

It will be a free replacement under warranty if your car is under 1 year old... which I am sure yours is...

Hmmm... Very good point, but I'll probably use an Optima on my next battery.

The Factory INFINITI batteries that are purchased from a dealer (not that is included with the car) have a 2 year full replacement, and 7 year prorated replacement...

How long was the car sitting with something on at the dealer?

Hazard lights flashing for 3 hours while getting a PDI done or something... Or even for months after the vehicle is built and being transported...

Its not uncommon for the original battery to die after a short amount of time...

Once one cell goes bad, the battery wont hold a charge any more...

So your saying all New Cars have battery problems? It just doesnt make sense, I get what your saying, I understand dealers can leave stuff on in the car and etc.. but Wouldnt the battery be built to run longer and last for this reason?

Are you sure it's a dead battery and not just it going into power-save mode or something??

Thats just how it is... Thats why the ORIGINAL battery does not have the same warranty is the newly purchased ones...

IF it does fail, and it is rare, but does happen, it usually fails in the first year...

mine died in half an hour last night!!!

Dear Diary, -lol
i was putting on my new plates with the radio on (in the garage) and when i was almost finished the radio shut off!! i thought the song was over so i ignored it since the lights were still on but when i went to go turn it on it wouldnt work... so I tried turning off the lights to conserve energy and give the battery some time to reboot but the lights wouldn't go off. my alarm didnt even work! the only light that went on was the battery warning light. so i walked to the front of the car and thats when i noticed that my drivers side projector was the only one working!!!! I WAS LIKE WTF!!!! The car didnt make any sound when tryiing to restart and i didnt know if there was a way to reboot the car or turn it off completely. so i went inside, looked at the manual and when i came back to turn it on a half hour later..............she was fine! not cool. music wasnt evem that loud either... although i do believe that sound sytem that comes with the premium pkg drain a ***** load! anyways, thanks for reading
