ride quality is night and day... at least until the rattles start. WAY WAY WAY less road noise. at this point, no popping or cracking or creaking or anything... just a nasty growl at mid rpms with windows down
the only rattle i heard was the passenger seatbelt brushing up against the interior (of course no one was sitting with me)... i turned it inside out so it was pointing towards the seat. if i recall.. my 2004 coupe did the same thing. otherwise the car is rattle/squeek/pop free so far.

It's not a freakin' Ferrari. I don't understand where these losers come from that have to troll around here and pi$$ on peoples' parades. The car is fab finagle. Enjoy driving it this weekend. I hope to have mine next weekend!!!
Okay, now I feel better getting a 5AT.

Just playin' it's still a toss up between the two, but after weighing the pros and cons, I'm leaning towards the 6MT.
The choice is definitely up to the driver. I have a 15-20 drive to work and with my work hours, I dont need to worry about getting stuck in rush hour traffic with a 6MT. I drive an AT SUV right now and although I enjoy the laid back and relaxed driving, it gets boring at times.

I've got 11,300 KMs on my 07 Sedan and it's been completely rattle free. The materials used in the 2nd gen G is top notch and I suspect that rattles won't be as prominent as they were in the 1st gen G.

I'm actually enjoying the paddle ****ters more than shifting any car I've owned.

Glad to hear you are enjoying them bro. I am still a true lover of the manual tranny, however my wife refuses to learn how to drive one. But I must admit that I've really enjoyed the paddles over the last 10 months.....they are a blast to use in the twisties.

My step-dad made me learn how to drive manual when I was 15 and I haven't had one since the 1997 Acura Integra GSR that I bought way back when. The 2001 Acura CL with the tiptronic shifter was a compromise, but not the real thing. I loves me a stick shift.
