R&T frigging broke the embargo and ruined the world premiere of the next generation G37 Coupe at the New York International Auto Show. I've been waiting for the official release at the show for ages and the @sswipes at R&D decided they could use more hits on their website. Now every automobile website is flooding the web with info and pictures of the G37 Coupe dispite Infiniti's request. "Well, they did it first, what ya gonna do?" is a pretty lame defense.

I could have dreamt about what a beautiful car the G37 could have been for ONE MORE WEEK. Now you ruined it, no more fantasies, no more secret. Next time you guys watch a movie I'll e-mail you how it ends. You take a girl out to dinner I'll fax you a list of her venereal disease. You want to watch 24? I'll tell you what's going to happen next week to the drone.

Well I hate you and I won't be buying your magazine for a long long time. In fact, I'll do one worse - I'll go read your mags at Barnes and Noble and not pay a dime for it. I'll scan your articles and post them online.

So the information for the G37 leaked out a week before the embargo date, that is better than most car companies can do, especially with a car like this that alot of people were waiting to be unveiled. I think Nissan/Infiniti did a good job to keep it a secret for this long!!

 

If you want me to post the online editor and list of staff from R&T, let me know if this will help you.

 

One second here ... how did you get to see the leaked pictures? How did the pictures appear on your screen? Did you somehow get the "G37 coupe pics" virus on your computer? Or did you click on the g35driver links about the new coupe?

If you really wanted a surprise, just don't visit the car mag websites and stay off car forums until the NY Autoshow. It's just like pr0n -- it's there on the 'net ... it's up to you if you want to look at it or not.

 

Did anybody know if Road and Track was invited to the G37 preproduction test? Could it be that R&T got pissed because they didn't get invited? It's possible that after R&T gave the G35 sedan last place in their recent comparo, Infiniti didn't want R&T to be there.

 

Are you seriously mad at R&T or just joking?

how do u know road and track did it? i was on their website and i dont see any news about it. what da hell.. i thought they are the only car mag that doesnt have the news out by now. i mean, even C&D and motortrend has the same news by now (which they didnt last nite).
