Could someone photo shop a 07 sedan to make it look like a 08 coupe. basically chop the 07 sedan to a 2 door coupe. I think that would do it.

the 08 coupe is such bad lazy *** conservative sissy design that makes the BMW ugly *** bungle butt flame surfacing crap looks good. I predict a sales flop for 08 coupe.

I hope you're right, so my 2006 coupe won't depreciate as much. However, I think the G37 made up for the bad physical exterior design with performance enhancements. Some people will buy it for the 330HP, but I agree that most people buy a car for the looks, so it will impact sales.

 

As bad as the new '08 coupe looks the aftermarket will be happy to fix it for
them.......they've probably already started.......I would!!

 

Except the one main thing I liked about the concept was the sharp "shoulder line" running down the length of the car. They softened that to the point where it is just about entirely gone.

No aftermarket can fix that.

 

You can make any car look good with aftermarket parts,

but in general, >95% buyer keep them stock so it's the look of stock
that drives the vehicles sales. The 08 coupe will be a flop, there's no
escaping that. I can't believe they didn't apply the look of the well received
08 coupe concept, somebody should be fired for that, there is no excuse.

The 07 Sedan, although has similar look on the front with 08 coupe, has several new things going that's not in 05/06, I.E., Projector headlights, Dual exhaust, Dual Intake etc, so the 07 Sedan should sell well.

 

We'll find out soon enough if it will be a "flop". My guess is you are wrong.

 

I highly doubt it will be a flop. The car does not photograph well. A couple of magazines have already said that in pictures the front looks soft, but in person it looks more muscular than the current. Can't wait to get. Only thing that I was expecting was a 6 AT, but not a deal breaker.

 

They absolutely applied the concept to the actual car. It is evident from every angle. Some angles are more obvious than others. Heck, you can even see some of the coupe concept in the G sedan.

 

Yep, but the knee-jerk reaction of the people on this forum is not uncommon when initial photos are released. It's happened countless times: a new car is released and everybody hates it. A year later, the very same people discuss how good looking the model is. The G37 will likely not be different.

 

Damn guys, CALM DOWN, the cars not even out yet, and you guys are sure it will be a flop, have you even drove one? Pictures dont say Much..
