Like many on here, I've had issues with the convertible top on my 2011 G37 opening and closing. After some investigation, I discovered the flipper arm gearbox had failed. I rebuilt the gearboxes with new metal planetary gears and they are now functioning normally. I have a bidirectional scanner capable of maintenance commands/relearning but have since discovered that my parcel shelf will not rotate horizontally or vertically. It moves up and down, though. I removed the motor that rotates it, the motor engages on command, but the gearbox appears to be frozen up. After a bit more research, I've noticed that the motor/gearbox assembly is very similar to the one that moves the front seats up and down.

Was wondering if anyone has had a similar experience and how they solved the problem. I'm completely prepared to replace the entire parcel shelf assembly, but would rather just replace the rotation gearbox/motor.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
