Found a Unicorn - Still Can't Believe it!

I've always loved the G37 Convertible ever since I first saw it in 2009. I ended up buying a 2011 G37 Coupe in 2015 instead, b/c it was more practical at the time (kids, soccer practice,...).

Now that they are grown, I've always had an eye out for a Q60 vert. Just last week, my perfect combination vert came to my inbox. Couldn't believe it. I had to move fast b/c there was a queue of people waiting in line for it from Minneapolis to FLA.

Here's the specs:
  • 2015 Q60S - Sport package
  • White Exterior with Black interior
  • Premium Package (had this in my Coupe and couldn't part with that)
  • This is the part that blew me away - it had 6990 miles. That made it a unicorn!
Couldn't believe it. It was up in Midlothian, VA (about 3 hours from my house). Schedule a time on this past Sunday to drive it and it was evident that this was a one of a kind car. PERFECT CONDITION, excellent price and I got a good deal on my coupe (that I thought I would never part with my 11-Coupe @ILM-NC G37S but my wife said - you don't need them both. She was right).

Here's the website and I hope it's still up.
Drove it home Sunday afternoon and have never looked back. It smells new, looks new and doesn't have a single SPEC on it. I look hard for those things are it looks brand new from the factory.
My dream for the last 14 years finally came true. You can see my G37 Coupe in the background on one of the pictures. Truly sad to give up that car.

I test drove a beautiful 2015 IPL (White with Red interior) last year, but it totally turned me off because how much that car rattled ( @Rochester ). When I drove this one, it convinced me that the IPL was abused and this one was solid with minimal body flex.

Congratulations on your new toy. I wish you many happy, safe, and trouble-free miles and memories with the car. A eight-year-old car with barely 7K miles... you really scored on that one!

Though I know I will add a 'Vert at some point in the next 9-12 months, it likely will not be a G/Q. I do not need two of the same car and I also do not need a back seat at all- so...

Again, congrats and lots of luck!

That was my thought too. I wanted a vert but didn’t want two of the same car. Now I can look for a truck bc my kids want me to get one

Thx for the well wishes. Good times ahead

My original dream convertible was the 370z roadster. Finally got a chance to drive one and I was thoroughly disappointed. The cockpit was too damn small. Being 6’2” I was cramped. Dream crushed but got lucky with my unicorn.
