Thunk when trying to open convertible top, and the parcel shelf seems get hit
What the thread title said. I've ignored it all summer because it was too hot to mess with it but I'm back at it. The first like 3.4ths of the process of opening it go smoothly. The flippers flip, the trunk opens right, it unlatches from the windscreen thingy, it starts to retract. Once it opens enough that the parcel shelf flips to the vertical position, that's when something goes thunk and i have to close the roof. I noticed the shelf is getting small gouges about 2-4 inches back from the decorative edge, and I figure it must be hitting something metal.
Any ideas? or things I should look at?
I have the consult software and laptop but its incredible confusing

I haven't found any how-tos yet. :/
Just got mine recently, but don't have a burning need to use it (and don't want to break anything while playing around), so it might be a while before I get to that.
Hopefully someone here can help ya out.

Yeah I think I got in to this car too late. It seems like it used to be everyone had these convertibles and knew how to fix them, and now they all sold them. At least I can drive it for now, it's my daily driver.
