Operation of top closes midcycle "trunk open" light comes on. Turn car off, restart, then roof closes. I heard of the latch being loose. Is that on under trunk hood and not actual body? Does anyone have pics? Q60 2015. Dealer is 3.5 hours away

 

No one else has had this problem?

 

If someone did, there is probably a thread on it.
Otherwise, you might have to go to the dealer to diagnose the issue. :/

 

You may need a new battery. Have it checked out

 

yeah mine acted up a little when my battery needed changing out. I had them get me the strongest one I could use based on the power to work top and seat a/c and stuff. no issues since

 

Mine just acted up today. I have a 2014 model and today I went to put the top down and the cycle stopped just as the top unlatched from the windshield. The trunk was open. I had to turn the car off and on again and it completed the cycle. I was opening on a bit of a hill with car pointed up and it felt like trunk lid hit the stop a little harder than normal.

 

I try to make sure the car is flat while operating the top. I could see where issues could arise if you were on a hill.

 

I'm having the same issue with a 2010 G37s conv. Can't figure it out but got these code: B1739 U0140 B1783

 

U0140 Data bus: body control module (8CM)- no communication
(although I wonder if this is not nissan / infiniti specific)
