2012 g37 infiniti

came back off holiday and battery was flat so jump started it everything seemed fine took it for a good run to recharge battery stopped at shop tried to start it and it was saying that the key was not recognized doors open and close with fob and alarm sets as normal and the ignition is lit up but will not move out of the lock position can anyone help before i contact a dealer ??????

lol... agree with you on that. one giant ungrammatical run on sentence. possibly another by-product of the american educational sys of "no child left behind" and the "dual immersion" programs.

in any case back to his original post, i would suggest trying using the other remote fob and see if the vehicle recognizes that. perhaps theres an issue with the remote fob currently being used. wonder if he tried jamming the problem remote fob in the remote receptacle and seeing if the car recognizes the remote when its inserted?
