Can anyone recommend a catback that fits the vert with no mods needed?
Been looking to put an exhaust on my car, but they ones I see always say it's for the sedan or the coupe. Will an exhaust for the coupe fit the vert? Are there any made especially for the vert?
I have my eye on this one from Stillen, but it will be a while before I purchase. Specifically says works with G37 'vert or Q60.

They have install steps on their site and it doesn't look too bad. I've always liked Stillen products. Also, love the tips and sounds good on youtube.

I have the stillen CBE on my vert. Was plug and play. Is better than the ipl exhaust but not very loud. I dont hear drone so either im immune or it isnt a big deal. Im abt to get a hfc or something to turn up the volume a little.
@Kimmspeed, car sounds AWESOME!

I've got Top Speed Pro 1 and Z1 high flow cats on my Vert. Straight bolt on. I love the setup. But, it's a little on the aggressive side.

Sorry 2Cold for the slow reply. Im not sure how to answer your question because I think it will depend on what you are looking for. So here is some items that are my opinions of the Stillen Cat Back
- It is essentially plug and play on the vert according to the dealer that installed mine, so if easy of install is and fit is big then it is good.
- The stillen is very well built and should last many years longer than the stock so if term of life is a big deal then the stillen is better
- From a performance standpoint the stillen is much better than the stock exhaust so for performance improvements then the stillen is good
-Drone - I don't notice any drone but that may be due to the tamer volume of the exhaust. when you do hear it the sound is pretty good. It is better than my IPL exhaust and that is why I got it.
- Sound - I have to admit that with warmer weather and the top down it does sound pretty good. Especially in a tunnel or parking garage. My biggest issue is volume. If you have the radio on and the top down you can hardly hear it. With the top up and radio on you definitely don't hear it. I am investigating a HFC and see if that will give me the volume I want. So, if you want a exhaust that is a easy install, good fit, much better made and longevity than stock showing no signs of drone with some performance gains as well then I would say yes I would recommend it. if you want these things and loud aggressive sound, then it may not be the one.
I bought mine on a black Friday sell and saved a bunch on it. Stillen does have good black Friday sells if you can wait that long. Hope this helps

I looked on their website and can't find a convertible-specific exhaust: https://topspeedauto.com/search.php?...ry=g37+exhaust
can you post the link to what you bought?
