I I just purchased a 2010 g37 convertible. The top seemed fine went up and down perfectly in the morning. I stopped at a rest stop later in the day and tried to open the top and it stopped while the trunk was opening. It have the trunk open alert and I had to put the car to on and off and retrying a bunch of times without turning the engine on just to get the trunk closed so I can drive home. So now the part that sits on top of the back when the convertible is up and blocks the rearvoew. Now when I try to open the top the trunk opens in preparation of opening and that piece slides up and touches the top of the glass and the process stops. It seems to me now that it may be out of sequence or something. I am not sure what to do. If anyone has any info on this I would greatly appreciate it. Btw I am in Long Island area Nassau county.

the warranty is 4 years from date of purchase, and unless your past that date, it should be free!

 

4 year warrenty and 60k miles
have look at it hard I had weird issues with mine such a pain in the ***
