Exclamation Cleaning Top Liner Interior

Hi guys, haven't posted in awhile. But I've come across a problem. Yesterday I had put my 4 stock wheels in my car and I accidentally rubbed one of them against the top liner of the car. Unfortunately now there is a rather big black smudge on the top liner.

Any help how to remove this? I was thinking possibly hydrogen peroxide or simply dish detergent.

Any help is appreciated

When I had my XM antenna replaced, the dealer left greasy fingerprints all over my headliner. I cleaned those off with carpet cleaner on a rag (the kind in a spray can). Just spray it on the rag and wipe.

Use armor all wipes. Pretty amazing that they clean the headliner.

I use Mr Clean Magic Eraser on my Wheat color seat belts, works good. If you do try it, just try it on a small spot to make sure it will not discolor, better safe than sorry. Good luck.

Armorall cleaner wipes or actually just a lysol cleaner wipe (pick a flavor) work well. Squeeze most of the moisture out before using them!

This:
Folex 36 oz. Carpet Spot Remover-FSR36 - The Home Depot

As mentioned, spray this on a clean towel and then dab lightly at the stain. Idea is to transfer the black mark onto the towel. So don't do any rubbing until 99% of it is transferred to the towel by dabbing. Then you can finish it off with a slight rub using a clean towel and a little more spray.

Another vote on using Folex. It won't leave any residue.
