Vert door 1 my finger 0
Well when you think that will never happen to me, it happened to me.
This was vert door meeting my finger on a full slam.
This happened on the last day of ZDayz after doing some photo shoots and a last spirited run towards Deals gap in the rain.
Since I roll with the go pro, I do have the moment on tape, but will spare you. LOL.
Anyway it was "lucky break" 4th finger tip on the right hand. No surgery, but stitches for the crush finger tip and no loss of the finger nail.
The point is be careful when closing the door
and remove your hand in time. Healed up in 3 weeks as the doc said to let it heal on it's own. Still hurts with pressure but just a nice scare if left.

PS. The ER was only 1 hr away drive. 30 minutes to the cabin by myself and 30 riding shotgun.
