Possible Replacement for my 2010 G37 Vert
#36
Sweet looking car, but RWD. You know I love the AWD
Actually ended up choosing the R8 because you don't see them everyday by me (actually almost never). 911s are all over the place and a Turbo looks like a 4S, which looks like a GTS... 2 neighbors already have a GTS and an S, so wanted something different. No arguing it on purely performance though.

Priceless... (please ignore how dirty the garage is, not so proud of that).
Now seriously, the R8 was not $175k used, it was far less than that. It was probably about 3x what a G37 Convertible costs or so. Is it 3x better car, hard to say, depends on how you measure like comparing many cars. It is much faster, handles much better, when I cross train tracks the doors don't bang against the chassis and I don't see 20 of them before I leave my neighborhood.
I still like my G a lot, it has been a great car for me, with some very minor flaws that I got used to (minor rattles in the top mostly). It handles well, as long as the weather is good, and is reasonably quick.
Like I said I will still be driving both for a few more months, so I will enjoy both cars.

Enjoy the car, you won't see many around and it looks fast just standing still. It's definitely more exotic than the G37 and if you can afford it, you deserve it!

OK finally turned in my 2010 G37 Convertible. If anyone picks up a used 2010 in Garnet Red with tan interior, try double pushing the roof button, you may get a free installed surprise.
Good luck to everyone.
