Are the wheels hub-centric? When I got some BBS wheels they weren't as smooth as the stock wheels, but the barrel was supposed to be stock size.
Most wheels use a larger barrel and you use a plastic insert to make it fit correctly on the car. That's called a "hub centric ring" make sure they have that one.
Another thing is if the wheel balance they are using is out of spec, it might be that. Find a wheel shop that has the newest balancer.
