2011 G Convertible What’s New

Here is an overview of the changes for the 2011 model year. For complete information, see G Convertible Features and Specifications.

2011 G Convertible Change
Models and Packages
Limited Edition replaces Anniversary Edition G37 Convertible Limited Edition features unique front fascia, side sills, and Midnight Black grille, along with distinctive red leather-appointed interior, unique red-toned Maple accents, and climate-controlled front seats. It also comes with all the performance and luxury features currently found on G Convertibles equipped with the Premium, Navigation, and Sport packages.

The Anniversary Edition is no longer available.

Packages revised The Navigation Package is now standard on G37S Convertible Sport 6MT.

Sport seats are deleted from the Sport Package. Instead, Sport Package models have climate-controlled front seats (included in Premium Package).

The Technology Package is no longer available on G37S Convertible Sport 6MT.

Exterior
Exterior styling updated The front fascia has been restyled, and the fog lights are now integrated into the front fascia, making it easier for customers to recognize this standard feature. New designs for the 18- and 19-inch aluminum-alloy wheels complete the new look.

Exterior color choices revised Lapis Blue and Malbec Black (Limited Edition only) are added.

Athens Blue and Midnight Garnet are no longer available.

What color exterior can you get the limited edition in? Can you order white with the red leather?

I would have liked this to be in the first vert release for the sport optioned models. Oh Well.

I have to admit I am bummed out that there is no AWD version of the Convertible, I was hoping there would be one released for 2011.

Agreed!
But, after 2 summers of top down driving, there have only been a handful of times that I would have used this feature! I think this sounds a lot cooler (no pun intended) than it is.

I have heated & cooled seats in my Volvo S80 and rarely use the cooling aspect.

I can't imagine that will ever happen. This little pig weighs 4,100lbs now. I would guess that AWD would push it to close on 4,500lbs. You'd need the 5.6 litre just to get around! It would be fun though.
