convertible only concern... trunk space

basicly, i'm pretty sure i would love the convertible. i know most of you don't really care for it, but i'm looking to get a convertible (and i want a hard top so this def puts the g in the pic) i have a red g37, and its crazy but im thinking about buying the car but the conv.

i looked at a bmw 335i conv today, and i really think that i may be able to fit my subs in the back of it. but i wonder about the G?

they're 2 10's. with a pretty small custom box. but a pretty big amp... im not sure i can pull it off? i was thinking i could always put just the amp in the trunk and put the subs in the back seat, and if necessary just take the subs out if i needed the room for passengers?

anyways, any advice would be appreciated. thanks!

4080 box with subs on the side of the trunk might help. but you're just guessing until you see where the top is actually stored.

you would have to wait for more info/pics. No one really knows yet.

I saw the preproduction with the trunk open, didn't get a chance to snap a picture though. In terms of storage, it looks like you can fit a backpack in there and maybe a laptop, that's it. 2cu.ft of trunk space with the top stowed.... but 10 cu.ft with the roof up - which is actually bigger than the coupe. If I am not mistaken the exhaust system and the width of the rear end is different on the convertible than the coupe. (which mean aftermarket wheels on the coupe might not fit on the vert)

solara, sebring, 335 - all the hardtop convertibles have the same goofy rear roofline that kills it for me.
