This thread should be moved to current models or something, test drove the IPL already and saw them at 3 different dealers!

The IPL car looks great. Its no body kit. Its sculpted. Lines are smooth. Wheels are incredible. Beautiful car. Those who thought Infiniti just "added a body kit" have no idea.

I would get the IPL over a '11 G37s 6mt if infiniti would let you get the Black with Red interior in a 6MT. The stupid fact that if i want an IPL with 6MT, i can only get it with black interior?? Seriously? Just stupid. The IPL should only come in a 6MT!!

The body kit can be order from your dealer for $3900.

Thats with or with out Fogs.

I will keep my 09, because I like the TS front lip a little better then the new front end

 

Jesus... how many times do people have to say it??? It's NOT a F---ING body kit. The pieces are singular whereas a body kit, obviously, is a piece glued onto a piece. I can't count how many "body kits" have rattled, have come loose, been knocked off, or fail at one point or another. You're adding numerous new interfaces and fasten-points which adds numerous points of probable failure. They look good for a while but they're unreliable in the long run.

1 minor complaint so far:

The fog lights suck on the 10s and 11s. They were much more functional on the 08s and 09s, i.e., I can't tell when they're on whereas I could in my '08.

Sounds like your in love with that thing man...its just some purple paint haha. I've seen one of these at the dealership and i am not on board.gross

 

yeah, i want to lose about 1" all the way around.

I am, indeed, in love with the paint. So are women. It's just an interesting color and unexpected because it's "black" until the sun hits it just right.

 

the front seems way high, replacing the springs kinda defeats the whole purpose of having an ipl though... i would just leave it as it.

 

I think if I went with a Tanabe, though, it would look perfect and still handle as well (if not slightly better). It really does handle amazing
