ok I have seen patrols (forget the year) had a turbo the size of your head.
factory(can't type in caps)v6 turbo awd.
and everything in uae is modded.this one was but so what,show me one suv here stateside that puts out#s like that.other than a srt8 jeep with a turbo or s/c.
I friend of mine told me about the power in them,he said "it's a nissan pathfinder on steroids"
I have seen ones that put down 700 800 alll day, google the middle east / uae patrol they are ridiculous.
also look on you tube.

just wait for the specs on the qX56 very shortly. Remember, even Infiniti changed some specs for the Euro market on the FX, EX, and G's versus the North American market...i.e.. the ECu tunes are different which some people won't know unless you drive one out there and out here in the states

just wait for the specs on the qX56 very shortly. Remember, even Infiniti changed some specs for the Euro market on the FX, EX, and G's versus the North American market...i.e.. the ECu tunes are different which some people won't know unless you drive one out there and out here in the states
I know the Euro Infiniti's make less HP, but I think the Middle East Infiniti's have higher HP numbers because of less restrictive catalytic converters or a different calculation method?

just an FYI...
the TB48 in the current Patrol is an inline 6. It is one of the largest displacement 6cyl engines ever made. It shares a lot of design cues from the RB26. It does not come with turbo from factory and never did. The turbo patrols you see on youtube usually have one of the following:
TB48 + Turbo
RB26 / RB30 swap
2JZ-GTE swap
V8 swap (very few)
The fast ones pushing over 800whp most likely have a huge turbo (think Supra size GT47's) with full internal and nitrous. Now some nice videos of em:
