How much more for the 2010 Turbo Option?

If the rumors are true, how much more should we expect to pay for a Turbo option on a 2010 G37 Coupe? I was planning on buying an '09 and don't want to get screwed when I could of waited for the '10 turbo version.

Do you have more information on these rumors? I would think 5-7 g's would be resonable if it's based on the GTR set-up, but again I havent heard the rumors....

The rumors have been around for awhile now. I wouldn't count on this coming out though but who knows.

If Nissan did decide to put out a g37 TT I doubt it would perform anywhere near the GTR simply because the GTR is $30K more. It wouldn't make sense for a $50K G37TT that would have more luxury features and performed near a GTR for $25K less. I just don't see it happening. I could see the Baby G get a 4 cylinder TT and push around 300HP, but everything I said is just speculation.

i would be extremely surprised if they came out with a TT model... and if they did it would not be putting out insane HP numbers

+1, I think if they do make a TT model it will not be with the G37, mabe the model that replaces this car will have a TT.

I don't see them offering a turbo option, the motor isn't designed with Turbo charging in mind, to boost up the reliability to let customers purchase them and not have it in the shop once a month for serious work, they'd have to build up the motor even more, change compression ratio's and build a super strong bottom end. Turbo's put a lot of stress on the engine. I could see them releasing a V8 option before a Turbo.

Same platform, if they do it to the Z, they'll offer it in a G.

^Not always the case. Nissan knows they have a performance crowd following with the Z. They're not aiming for that same crowd with the G. Even though, all of here mod our cars, the number of other G's out there that are stock is much more significant. Don't forget that they offer the Nismo Z, added to the the other lines of the Z (enthusiast, touring, tack). And all Infiniti has is the "S" models.

Yes, i think the S was a serious mistake by the head marketing research guy, or whoever came out with the S. Its simply behind in its time.

Why is the S a mistake? I love manual transmission vehicles. If not for the S, I wouldn't get a G37 at all.
