G25

What do you think the chances that Infiniti will produce a G25 anytime in the near future? Something that's a 3/4 size G35 to compete with the Acura TSX but rear wheel drive. I know that I would like to see a vehicle like that. The G35 is great but the gas milage is not very good.

A G25 is not gonna happen.

Why would Infiniti want to compete with what I consider a POS car like an Acura TSX?

I guess we will also need a G15 to compete with an Acura RSX

Acura did a big mistake bringing a weak line up with vehicles such as a TSX and RSX which in my opinion should also carry a Honda badge rather than a Acura.

I mean seriously, what does a TSX & RSX have that a Honda doesnt? It's not like if anyone is going to get luxury out of a 20k and 28k Acura.

TSX & RSX = No Luxury, FWD

I personally wouldn't mind a G25 since HP and 0-60 times aren't a major must have for me. Of course it's highly unlikely that Infiniti will do such a thing.

That said, it's a good bet that Infiniti will offer the VQ25HR in the upcoming CX.

Infiniti will offer a VQ25HR according to reports, but definately not here in the U.S.

The VQ25HR will mainly be used in Europe and Asia (according to articles).

Expect a CX35 in the U.S, not a CX25.

shame infiniti wont be selling a version of it, guess they just dont want to have anything below 30k at their dealers.

I don't see anything smaller than the G35 coming out anytime soon... Although Infiniti had a good deal of success with the G35's predecessor, the G20, Infiniti achieved even more praise by the market with the G35. Infiniti is not in the market to compete with the TSX... That's Nissan's job with the fully loaded Altima and base Maxima, IMO.

I wish they would make a g05 for about $11,000 so I could afford a luxury brand. Just take out the leather and vq35.
