Highlights of the track were the numerous amount of cars that leaked crap all down the track...why can't people just pull over? One Civic had the track shut down for almost 2 hours. I'd say with all the down time, we only had about 2 1/2 hours of racing, even though the staging lanes were open from 1-6.
I'll have pictures up in a few days of a brand new Saleen S7 TT!!! O yeah, and he brought his buddy along in a new Ford GT. The Saleen didn't run, but the GT ran a 12.1, even though his brakes were on half way down the track. Both of these guys are Viper owners and I've actually seen their cars run at Viper events. Both Vipers are low 10 second cars.
The heat got to everyone's cars. My first run was my best (to my knowledge) 14.2 @ 97.7. Next 2 runs, I missed 2nd gear that for some reason I always do? I really think I'm putting the stock shifter back on. 4th run, heat soak and a 14.6. My 5th run, I missed 2nd gear again... My last run I believe would have been my best, but the damn guy who hands out the timeslips somehow didn't print my run. I was so pissed. That was the only run my car didn't bog.

Notice how low my trap speed was...that shows how hot it was. Usually, my traps are 99mph. Someone had some kind of computer hooked up to their car reading all different temperatures, but they said the track temperature was over 100 degrees at 3pm.
