ok, i got a call today from an infiniti dealer in sfl, and the guy told me 2 things that got me thinking, and i wasn't sure as to how true they were:

1) that all 6mt coupes come w/ a clear bra from factory (ok well i know this is bs for shure but w/e just clarifying myself)

2)that infiniti produces only 120,000 6mt coupes WORLDWIDE

im sure he is just bs'ing me to get me to buy it from him.

 

1) Over the entire hood or only half of it?

2) Infiniti as a brand is available only in North America. Annually about 28,000 coupes are produced with about 30% of them being 6MT.

If you talked to Warren Henry, tell them to get a life. They told me that the 0-60 of the coupe is 5.2s....

Lokey Infiniti sounds like a good alternative to this "SFL" dealership. Just my honest opinion...

#1 - I have never heard of a free clear bra on any 6mt

#2 - As for units sold. From Infiniti's website, In 2003, Infiniti sold 28,965 G35 coupes. As for 2004, the number actually went down to 28,377. This is from Infinitinews.com. I'm sure this is only US sales but dont know how they can possibly sell 120,000 6mt coupes. Maybe I am missing something

This is for the Infiniti Division of Nissan North America, meaning the number includes sales in the US and Canada. I know from a Nissan person that the G is not sold in Mexico and I don't believe anywhere else for that matter.

 

Even if the idiot was right, why on earth would a salesman use "ONLY 120,000 6MT" per year as a selling point. jeeeeeeeeeeeeez

 

Dude seriously the car dealerships down here suck ***, I used to drive my damn Audi to Melbourne where i bought it and have it serviced cuz the ***** at these dealerships are so stupid and ignorant. no offense to anyone who works at em but seriously, check out Lokey, i would have got my car from them seeing as I lived in St Pete but my dad actually did everything for me, and trust me his comments about Coconut Creek, Warren Henry, and Broward ( Lighthouse Point, wtfever ) were not pleasent. just a suggestion.
