Im gonna try to post some another video tonight. I did have the r2c intake but went back to stock. I plan on getting the stillen gen 3 CAI and a tune, but not until november. Then early next year will be the 2010 sport bumper conversion.
Bigmike! Nice video. I can swing by your street and light it up!

If you're interested to hear what your final setup might sound like, let me know.

Do you happen to have a clip of your car since your running 18" also? I'm trying to make a decision on 12 or 18.

Be happy to help with that, if you want to meet up before you head out west.

Not yet. I'm having problems with the oxygen sensor 1 bank 1. I'm waiting to have it delivered and installed to clear up the Ces light. I did notice I'm burning hella gas now. I'm assuming it got damaged during the hfc install from using the torch.

Mine did that too. I cleaned both my MAFs with sensor cleaner, disconnected the battery for a while and it never came back.

Man Mike! That sounds friggin' awesome! I can't believe how deep it is. I'm hoping to install mine tomorrow. I just blacked out my cans tonight so it should be good to go.

I have to say it again...I'm blown away by how deep it sounds. I hope mine sounds just as deep. I went 2.5" piping and no resonators. Going to install the CBE first and then later on will do the RHFC's to compare.

+1 on more vids! Were the RHFC's a pain to install?

My suggestion is to pay a shop to do it for you. unless you have a torch with impact wrenches and an assortment of extensions its not going to be easy. if you went with 2.5 piping and no resonators on the exhaustits going to drone like crazy on the highway. probably a bit raspy as well. I cant imagine adding HFC into the mix on that as well.

Noob here.
CBE = cat back exhaust, easy as 'cat back'
RHFC = really? high flow cats? help!

Sounds great, whatever it is.

RHFC = Resonated High-Flow Catalytic Converters.

AFAIK (as far as i know), there are only two companies that manufacture resonated cats for this car: Fast Intentions, which uses a standard, internally perforated resonator; and ARK, which uses a Helmholtz resonator. That Helmholtz is sexy, BTW (by the way).

LOL (laugh out loud)

That was my thinking...have a shop to the RHFC's and I'll install the CBE first on my own. Yeah, I went 2.5" and a non-resonated X-pipe. I guess we'll see how it turns out. I haven't heard any sedans with my setup. If worst comes to worst, I'll throw down for an X-pipe with a 12" resonator on it.
