Does temperature effects/trigger codes?

Hey guys, I’m currently driving a 2010 g37x with 205,1xx miles and is my current daily. It popped a p0011( bank 1 over timed). Replaced the VVT solenoid, cleared the code and drove it and it didn’t come back. Drove my car around for the rest of the day and it was fine, very smooth as I can remember. Mind you for the rest of the day it was warm starts. I let the car sit for couple of hours outside when it was low 50s/ high 40s and the code popped up again. Has anyone have this problem? Could the temperature affect and throw off the ECU?
