High power on g37x sedan

I had asked this question about the q60 and after dropping and building my transmission I've been thinking about how far i could go with this car. As i had mentioned on the thread about the q60 I'm a fan of awd for high power because it makes it makes the car more usable and easier to handle. Awd can pose a bit of an issue with high power on these cars because there's not as much support for the drivetrain as rwd. I know i can always swap in vr30 transmission if mine can't handle it, what about the driveshaft and axles? If i end up going all the way with a built engine i want around 600 whp, 550 would be ok though. I figured on going the supercharger route since there's not really any awd twin turbo options for the g, either the topgunz kit or the new z1 kit, by the time i can afford it it should be released.

I wonder how overbuilt the drivetrain components are. The transmission, transfer case, driveshafts, differentials, and CV shafts need to reliably hold up to an engine putting out 269 lb-ft of torque. From a financial point of view, it doesn't make sense to overbuild by that much. Then again, maybe Nissan spec'ed the same components for the G that were used on models with higher torque output, e.g. the V8-based M and Q70 models.

I know the transmissions on the v8 cars was a different 7 speed, re7r10b vs re7r10a. I've heard the axles and driveshaft are good for around 500 hp, I'd imagine rwd axles might fit the back so thats covered but I'm worried flooring it from a stop (which i think is the funnest part of awd) would possibly snap a front axle at that power. Haven't really found any front axle upgrades at all. Same with the driveshaft, no stronger awd driveshafts. There's been a few threads on here about it but the idea seems to have been abandoned.

Just throwing this out there, but how compatible are the drive train components from the R35? I mean, DCT aside, the AWD is the same system.

Never thought about that. I think the gtr awd is full time awd vs the front wheel assist on the g37. I could be wrong though.

I emailed z1 about the front cv joints, they said i should be ok but may want to replace them before i get the supercharger in case they're worn out.
