I've had my G37Xs for about 3 years now. I was looking to possibly getting a 400z until boosting my current car came across my mind. Only problem is there is VERY FEW pieces of information on anyone boosting these cars awd and i don't seem to openly see any kits catered towards the awd models. Has anyone personally boosted their g37x? If so these would be my questions.
-Which kit did you buy
-Is the stock trans holding up
-Does the awd system complicate things or possible make more potential issues down the road from the added power


Hope someone can help, this forum has seem to be quite a bit dead in comparison to a couple of years ago.

You're probably referring to turbo options. I'm SOHO supercharged, no issues since I don't have to deal with exhaust piping The stock auto trans can hold the power for a little while but it will eventually go. I did the VR30 trans swap and had no issues with it.

 

how did the whole awd vr trans swap go for you? Heard there’s so problems when it comes the the driveshaft
