Sputter after MAF/MAP Throttle Body cleaning and new plugs
I'm trying not to beat a dead horse, I have read a lot of the threads on this particular issue, and have followed a lot of the suggestions, still can't find the issue. Wondering if anyone with the same issue has actually found a solution.
2011 G37 Vert 106k miles. Here's what's going on:
What I have done: ECU Rest Idle Air Volume Learning procedure.
Spark plugs all correctly gaped
Checked intake boots and resonator for cracks, none found.
Removed and reinstalled plugs to make sure there was no issue there.
Checked throttle body gaskets, no issues.
Checked all electrical connectors, they are all full connected.
Cursory smoke test for other vacuum leaks, none found.
Could this be related to the maf/map sensor issue I had originally? after resetting the code, the SES light has not reappeared. Or is this related to the plugs or throttle body cleaning?
2011 G37 Vert 106k miles. Here's what's going on:
- Got SES light. Pulled code P0106. Cleaned MAF and MAP. Cleared code.
- Decided it was time to do plugs and clean throttle body.
- Did all 6 plugs and cleaned throttle body, reset ECU, did the 3 step process for Idle Air volume learning.

Not sure if you saw this thread. But, did you clean your MAP sensor?
